Telling Your Story is a curriculum created by Katelynn Holt as part of her Girl Scout Gold Award in order to address the lack of confidence in young writers and lack of close-knit community in an inherently solitary activity. The Telling Your Story packet, which can be accessed below for free, outlines eight meetings that include activities to help young writers develop their creative writing skills and share their writing in a group setting known as a "writing circle". Also included is a "resources" section, which contains examples of some of the activities, as well as links to more tools for young writers.
